If you'd told me 10 years ago that I would be a Personal Trainer, I'd have laughed & asked for a pint of whatever it was you were drinking. I'd always been overweight, unhappy & making up whatever excuse I could do get out of any form of physical activity.
But then I was introduced to Powerlifting - I found a new way of exercising and losing weight that didn't involve running on a treadmill.
I progressed further and further, eventually competing in Powerlifting competitions. I'd finished my first full year of competing when I found out I was pregnant with our first child. It was important to me to keep training but I wasn't sure how so I sought help from my coach at the time. This was absolutely invaluable, as it helped both my physical and mental health.
While on maternity leave I eased back into exercising and decided to put my passion & experience to good use and qualify as a Personal Trainer. I took this one step further while on maternity leave with our second child and specialised in Pre & Postnatal fitness in order to offer the same support to new mums and mums to be!
My aim is to help as many mums to be, new mums and 'seasoned' mums to reach their own fitness goals as well as to provide some support & understanding during what can be a stressful time.
I will create a bespoke plan for you, according to your trimester, postnatal situation, fitness experience & preferences, and your goals.
